and gold coloured at the moment. In 2002 the colours were changed in mintgreen and gold. Admission fee for Shwe Dagon
is 5 dollar or F.E.C. You can easily spend a day over here, the complex is rather big with lots of pagodas, religious shops,
and small restaurants in the surroundings of the temple. You are supposed to walk barefoot , which can be a hot
experience because the marble around the temple can be rather hot.
