The countryside ( continued)
  Rice is the basic food in Myanmar together with some vegetable or meat curries and salads. Soup made out of rosary leaves is always served.Rice production is rising again.Also coconut is widely found.The juice of the palmtree is used to make sugar (jaggery) or an alcoholic beverage (toddy) which is produced in one day. The taste vaguely reminded me of Belgian Gueuze-beer (not the sweet one but the real one)
