There are an awful lot of hilltribes, ethnic minorities or whatever word you want to use in Myanmar.Their way of living is disappearing fast. Women keep more to traditional clothing than men do. Other peoples you will find all over the website. The reason some of the tribal life seems untouched by time is that the people belonging to the tribes live in remote areas, difficult to acces and often off-limit for tourists.Those who think they will see a lot of different tribes in their own villages during the 28 days they can stay in Myanmar will come back home frustrated.
