Rural Development Society
The man you see here on an old picture left from the lady is Tommy Aung Ezdani, since 1993 he runs an organisation that is rather succesful in improving life for the tribal people in the area of Shan State. He is still manager of the RDS . All of the projects started by the RDS including a childrens home called Imagine are still working.Examples of projects can be found on the following pages. These pages I removed from this website in 2011 after terrible accusations towards Tommy concerning the children under his care. It is impossible to get every doubt away after such an attack. I received an enormous amount of spam from all kind of people, which went on and on. All had one purpose :damaging Tommy. The amount became ridiculous and sometimes obvious lies were send to me.
After visiting Tommy in 2012 I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. There is no way you can defend yourself against this poisonous talk. The work for the villages has to go on, and in the organisation of the RDS in Kalaw there is no doubt Tommy should have a leading role in this.
